SAINT VALENTIN KANTHAROS, 5TH CENTURY B.C.

Fine Attic kantharos called Saint Valentine's - name given after the discovery of a tomb of Motte-Saint-Valentin in France where a similar kantharos was uncovered - decorated on one side with an array of foliage with addition of white paint.
The side B is decorated with vertical lines of chevrons, one of two being in added white. A horizontal line of waves runs along the both sides of the vase, the rest being covered in black varnish.

Comes with a TL test.
