LARGE CAMPANIAN RED FIGURE LEKYTHOS, 4TH CENTURY B.C.
Large red-figure lekythos, decorated with a scene of gynaeceum, where three standing women are painted in added white. The first one holds a mirror and a situla in her hands. The young woman facing, with one leg on a rock, her hands her a ribbon and a wreath, the third is presenting a box. It is also likely that this is a scene of nuptial ritual.
Greek art, Campania, attributed to the Boston Ready Painter, 4th century B.C.
