RED-FIGURE EPYCHISIS 4TH CENTURY B.C.
Nice Apulian red-figured epychisis with a high handle and thin mouth. The upper part of the body is decorated with a sitted woman with her legs extended, holding a phial and a wreath.
The edge of the bobbin-like body is decorated with a ovum frieze and the central part with a frieze of laurel leaves in added white. Two small lions muzzles adorn both sides of the handle.
Comes with a TL test.
