RED-FIGURE KANTHAROS, 4TH CENTURY B.C.
Nice red-figure kantharos with two high sung handles on a high foot, decorated with a winged Eros holding a tambourine on one side and on the other with a sitted woman holding a casket and a mirror. Both scenes are enframed by an ovum frieze on the top and bottom section and on the sides by two ionic columns in added white which is also for enhancing details on the decor. Two small faces in relief are placed at the base of both handles.
Comes with a TL test.
